Integral Management Policy
STWARD CORPORATION, a company specialized in providing maritime services, has established this integral management policy as a guideline for the prevention of occupational accidents and illnesses, environmental protection, and the provision of quality services. Committing to:
- Providing services aimed at meeting the needs of its clients.
- Identifying possible emergency situations across different work fronts and planning response actions to ensure the protection of life, the environment, and the continuity of its activities.
- Identifying hazards present in its activities, assessing risks, and establishing control measures to reduce and/or eliminate them.
- Preventing environmental contamination, particularly of marine waters, as a guiding principle in all its operations.
- Complying with legal requirements and other applicable requirements for its operations, flag state rules, and port authorities.
- Requiring other entities working under its control to apply safety and environmental care standards consistent with its own.
- Conducting training for onshore and onboard personnel in order to improve their competencies and knowledge of the QHSE management system;
- Continuously improving the integral management system and the application of its operational controls.
- Ensuring the operational readiness of its fleet through monitoring of its preventive maintenance plans.
- Fostering spaces and mechanisms for consultation and participation for its workers and/or their representatives.
Providing safe and healthy workspaces. Senior management approves this policy and will ensure the provision of the necessary resources for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of its Integral Management System.
Policy on the Prohibition of Drug and Alcohol Use, Carrying of Weapons, and Smoking Restrictions.
The use of drugs and alcohol can impair work performance and may pose a serious threat to safety, the environment, health, and productivity. STWARD CORPORATION seeks to ensure through these guidelines that all employees recognize this threat, with the aim of preventing and/or minimizing its effects.
- The carrying, consumption, distribution, or sale of any type of illicit drugs or legal drugs without a medical prescription is prohibited, both onshore and aboard the vessels we operate.
- Workers, contractors, and/or visitors are required to inform the Master or their immediate supervisor of any prescribed medication that may affect their judgment, reflexes, or reduce their physical or mental capacity.
- All workers and/or contractors are prohibited from boarding vessels while under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances.
- The company reserves the right to conduct alcohol and/or drug testing at any time; with a zero-tolerance level for such substances.
- The carrying or use of weapons aboard vessels or at any work site is prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited inside vessels, vehicles, offices, and enclosed spaces in accordance with local regulations on this matter.
- Designated safe smoking areas will be established on vessels and at other work sites if necessary.
- The company will not employ any person who is currently using or has a recent record of using illicit drugs, or who has abused prescribed drugs.
- Electronic cigarettes, matches, lighters, or any open flame are strictly prohibited aboard the Company’s vessels.
Violations of this policy are considered a serious offense and will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with their potential impact, up to and line dismissal for just cause. The company will carry out awareness campaigns regarding the possible effects of alcohol, drug, and cigarette consumption within operations, as well as the carrying of weapons.
Cybersecurity Policy
The purpose and objective of this policy is to raise awareness of cyber risk threats and vulnerabilities in order to contribute to the safety and protection of maritime transport for the vessels in our fleet to which the ISM Code applies, ensuring they are operationally resilient against cyber risks. To achieve these objectives, it is ensured that:

Device Protection:
- Laptops and smartphones protected with passwords.
- USB devices and peripheral ports blocked.
- Antivirus software installed and automatic antivirus updates enabled to ensure protection against the latest threats.

Data Backup Protection:
- Backup copies of all important documents and files are kept in a secure location from which they can be restored.
Masters are directly responsible for implementing this Policy within their departments, and it is the responsibility of every employee/crew member to comply with the Cybersecurity Policy.
